Health Connect & Health Platforms (Android & iOS)

If you explicitly grant permission, Amvo Pro integrates with Google Health Connect (on Android) and Apple Health (on iOS) to synchronize your training and daily recovery metrics.

Data We Read:

• Daily Steps (READ_STEPS): We read step counts aggregated per calendar day to display your daily step activity and progress ring on the home dashboard. Step data from phones and smartwatches is de-duplicated locally.
• Sleep Duration & Stages (READ_SLEEP): We read your most recent sleep session (duration and sleep stages: Deep, REM, and Light) to display recovery indicators on your dashboard so you can gauge readiness before workouts.

Data We Write:

• Workout Sessions (WRITE_EXERCISE): When you finish and save a workout, Amvo Pro can write the session details (workout title, start and end timestamps, duration, and exercise category) to Health Connect so your strength training appears in your overall health ecosystem.
• Active Calories Burned (WRITE_ACTIVE_CALORIES_BURNED): If enabled, we write estimated calories burned during your workout based on session duration and training intensity.

Privacy & Protection Safeguards:

• Strict On-Device Processing: All health data read from Health Connect or Apple Health is processed strictly on your local device. Raw step counts, sleep records, and sleep stages are never sent to our remote servers, AI services, external databases, or third-party analytics.
• No Third-Party Sharing or Advertising: We do not sell, rent, broker, or transfer your health or fitness data to data brokers, advertising networks, or third parties. Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, or interest-based profiling.
• Idempotent & Safe Syncing: Synced workouts use unique client record identifiers (clientRecordId) to prevent duplicate records when re-syncing, editing, or deleting workouts. When you delete a workout within the app, its record is removed from Health Connect as well.

How to Manage or Revoke Access:

You maintain full control over your health permissions at all times:

• In-App Controls: You can pause or resume Health Connect synchronization at any time in Amvo Pro under Profile → Integrations.
• System Settings: You can modify or revoke specific read or write permissions at any time via Android System Settings (Settings → Security & Privacy → Health Connect → App permissions → Amvo Pro) or on iOS via Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

AI and Data Processing

Amvo Pro uses artificial intelligence to analyze your workout data and provide personalized recommendations. Your data may be processed by AI services to generate:

• Workout recommendations and program suggestions
• Exercise demonstration videos
• Nutrition and meal suggestions
• Progress insights and coaching feedback

Your data is anonymized when used for AI training purposes. You can opt-out of AI training in your account settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• AI service providers (for generating recommendations)
• Cloud storage providers (for secure data storage)
• Analytics services (to improve app performance)

All third-party services are required to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Secure authentication and password protection
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls and monitoring

• Access your personal data
• Download a copy of your data
• Delete your account and all associated data

• Active accounts: Data retained indefinitely while account is active
• Deleted accounts: 30-day grace period, then permanent deletion

Our app is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
